12th Step Committee Volunteers carry the A.A. message to people who reach out for help with their drinking. We also take on unspectacular but important tasks that help make 12th Step work possible. We do this by:
- Answering 12th Step requests – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Maintaining a list of volunteers willing to conduct 12th Step calls
- Encouraging groups and individuals to become involved with 12th Step work
- Collaborating with other Intergroup committees to carry the A.A. message to alcoholics.
The 12th Step Committee needs volunteers to:
- answer incoming phone calls and emails
- make 12th Step calls or find another A.A. member who can
- perform other important committee work, like keeping our lists updated, workshops, group/individual communications, etc.
